I want to see your work and chat with you about my wedding!
I have a bridal consultation room in my house by the airport, where we can meet there any day except Saturday. I have all my prints, albums, and portfolio stuff there. Or I can come to your house. Or we can meet at a coffee shop. It’s up to you, just let me know what you prefer.
How do I book you ?
Easy! All you need to do is sign the wedding contract and put down a $300 retainer. The retainer insures that the day will be closed to other inquiries, and the contract spells out your package specifics and our commitment for a fabulous wedding experience.
What if I want to hire you, but you’re already booked for my date?
You can still hire PhotoKisses for your wedding! I have an associate photographer who delivers high quality photography at a 20% discount from my packages, or you can hire him at his own flat rate.
How about the engagement session ?
My packages include a complimentary get-to-know-you engagement session. I’d love to get to know you before your wedding day! We can have a fun and adventurous photoshoot a few months (of just a few weeks!) before your wedding, where we go to a location of your choice and just have fun for an hour or so. You can then choose to purchase prints, save the date magnets, and picture guest books.
What is your style?
I am all about fun, fashion, and passion! I will capture memorable candid moments in a photojournalistic style. You will get a fun, artistically posed, fashion-like couples session after your formal family pictures. We will dance and laugh together. I promise to make you feel comfortable and gorgeous in front of my camera!
What happens if you get sick ?
I will be at your wedding rain or shine, unless I’m in a life threatening situation. That said, I am a board member for Greater Rochester Professional Photographers, so I know a number of wedding photographers I can rely on to cover for me. Your day will be stress-free, no matter what.
How far will you travel ?
Anywhere in the world! I like to drive where possible because of the convenience of having a vehicle to drive around in your city, also the added security that my equipment is always with me, plus my assistant gets to come, too. I will also travel internationally for destination weddings.
Should we feed you ?
Yes, please! You have to remember that a wedding is quite a long event. I will be spending the majority of my day with you on my feet, creating the best and most gorgeous photographs that I can. The best compliment and token of appreciation you can give me is to let me rest a while at a guest or vendor table at your reception, before I jump back into action and photograph your dances, bouquet toss, and cake cutting.
What about special photo requests ?
If there is something or someone you absolutely must get a picture of, just let me know. Better yet, make a photo list of all the special people you’d like to include. Share the list with me and also with your maid of honor or someone in your wedding party who knows the people on the list and could call them out for photos.
What about albums ?
I offer three kinds of albums. The albums range from 8×8 to 12×12, and I also offer 5×5 mini albums that you can give to your parents, bridal party, or carry in your purse to show to friends. I design them for you myself, which lets you be as much involved in the process as you want.
What can we expect after the wedding ?
It will take a few weeks for the proofs to be ready to view in the private online gallery created for you. You will then be able to order prints, enlargements, and your album favorites straight in your gallery. Any prints you order will be edited and retouched if needed to best represent your day, and delivered within 4 weeks of ordering. Albums take about 8 weeks to deliver after you’ve approved the final draft.
Anything I can do with my dress?
You a) hang your dress in the closet and forget about it, or b) dress up again and have a Time After Time session with me! It’s very similar to the popular Trash The Dress concept, except you won’t be actually destroying your dress. You will get it a bit more dirty than you did on your wedding day – because we’ll be going to the park (grass) or the beach (sand, water) or even your favorite fast food joint (food, grease). Check out www.trashthedress.com to see how other brides choose to deal with their wedding dresses after their wedding. The Time After Time session is a fun and memorable experience, and it will provide you with even more pictures in your dress before you put it completely away. All I need is a fun and adventurous attitude!
Do you have a the referral program ?
My business has always been based on good word of mouth rather than advertising, so I want to show my appreciation to you by offering you $50 account credit for every bride who books a wedding with me through your referral. Spread the word between your friends!
And finally, what are your prices ?
I offer a few packages which cater to everything you may want or need, and you can also purchase a la carte items in addition to the package you pick. Prices start at $2600 and include engagement, wedding day, prints, and albums.
