WEDDINGS

About Weddings

I LOVE WEDDINGS. Seriously, ask anyone – my couples, my friends, my family. They will all tell you I get a sparkle in my eye whenever I talk about weddings and wedding photography.  You won’t have a more involved person on your wedding day, because I will be there, photographing everything in sight. Wedding dresses are my favorite. Wedding shoes are my favorite. Bouquets are my favorite, ceremonies are my favorite, receptions are my favorite… you get the picture.

I am available nationally and internationally. I love traveling and would be willing to shoot anywhere in the world.  I have been featured on covers of the Rochester Wedding magazine in the past few years as well as other print and online publications.

Quick FAQ

I want to see your work and chat with you about my wedding!
After browsing through my portfolio, you can call or email me (use the contact tab above), we can chat via Facebook or Skype, or meet in person. Totally up to you!

What is your style?
I am all about fun, love, and romance! I will capture memorable candid moments in a photojournalistic style. You will get a fun, artistically posed, fashion-like couples session after your formal family pictures. We will dance and laugh together. I promise to make you feel comfortable and gorgeous in front of my camera!

What happens if you get sick ?

I will be at your wedding rain or shine, unless I’m in a life threatening situation. That said, I know a number of wedding photographers I can rely on to cover for me. Your day will be stress-free, no matter what.

How far will you travel ?

Anywhere in the world! My packages are tailored to fit local and destination weddings. I photograph weddings in upstate NY and/or central FL without any added travel charges, since I am lucky enough to call both states my home.

Should we feed you at the reception ?
Yes, please! You have to remember that a wedding is quite a long event. I will be spending the majority of my day with you on my feet, creating the best and most gorgeous photographs that I can. The best compliment and token of appreciation you can give me is to let me rest a while at a guest or vendor table at your reception, before I jump back into action and photograph your dances, bouquet toss, and cake cutting.

What about special photo requests ?

If there is something or someone you absolutely must get a picture of, just let me know. Better yet, make a photo list of all the special people you’d like to include. Share the list with me and also with your maid of honor or someone in your wedding party who knows the people on the list and could call them out for photos.

What can we expect after the wedding ?
A few weeks after your wedding, the images will be ready to view in a private online gallery created for you. You will then be able to order prints, enlargements, and your album favorites straight in your gallery. Any prints you order will be edited and retouched if needed to best represent your day, and delivered within 4 weeks of ordering. Albums take about 8 weeks to deliver after you’ve approved the final draft.

Destination Weddings

Have passport, will travel.

I divide my time between Orlando FL and Rochester NY, depending on when and where my next upcoming wedding is. I have a serious travel addiction, so flying between these locations is always such a treat! I have traveled all over the world. I have been to 26 countries so far, and I’m always looking to expand my horizons! My ultimate dream is to one day be a destination wedding photographer, traveling worldwide for at least 10-12 weddings every year.

Weddings based in the United States  start at $2,600 and weddings in other countries start at $8,000.

Referral Program

Let me be honest for a moment here… I love being talked about! I love it when sisters, friends, and guests of the bride recommend me to their friends and family. In fact, I love it so much, that every time someone books me based on a referral, I want to shout out a big huge THANK YOU! And what better way to do that than to give back?

Whenever I get a booking thanks to word of mouth, you the referrer get a big fat $50 in account credit! And you can use it in any way you like! You can apply it towards prints or enlargements, upgrading your albums, or even towards your own wedding. The credit is good for 5 years, so you can spend it all at once or keep recommending people to me and accumulate your credit until you can get something BIG.

This wedding photographer is happy to be referred so often! You are so awesome for recommending me and my photography services. THANK YOU!!!

Trash The Dress

One of my favorite things to photograph are Time After Time sessions, aka Trash The Dress.  If you are unfamiliar with the trend, check it out here: www.trashthedress.com or click “see more” at the top of this page to view actual sessions I’ve photographed.

What is a Time After Time photoshoot?

Look back on your wedding day. Did you feel rushed after the ceremony while taking your pictures? Did you have enough time to go to any beautiful locations? Did your photographer remember to take a full dress shot?   This is your chance to put on your wedding dress and spend a few hours with undivided attention from me while we create some gorgeous imagery to add to your wedding album or some artistic prints for your walls – all the while highlighting your wedding dress and how beautiful you look in it.

Why would I want to get my dress dirty?

You don’t have to, by any means! I like knowing that your dress doesn’t have to remain in perfect condition until the end of the day. I will ask you to sit, lay down, get wet, and even get dirty – but only if you agree. I would never ask you to destroy your dress.  Still, we have the freedom to move around and do things you normally wouldn’t do on your wedding day.

What do you charge for a Time After Time session?

I charge $350 for my time and talent, and for editing and putting your images online. You get an online proof gallery where you can order prints. $50 print credit is included. You may also purchase files on disc for $250. Enlargements, canvas prints, and albums are available at a la carte prices.
