I’m sure you’ve seen dozens and dozens of your friends senior pictures – can you remember what they look like? Of course not. It’s most likely a blur of same old backgrounds, same old poses, same lighting.
So how do you get memorable, out of the box senior pictures? – by letting me photograph you. Outdoors. No crazy props, uncomfortable poses, or weird expressions.
How I shoot:
I think young people are extraordinary. I love capturing the energy, beauty, and fun that we create at a senior portrait session. I LOVE shooting in a modern, fashion magazine style! I want us to have fun during your session, and to get some memorable images you will be proud to show your friends, but ones that your parents will approve of, as well.
Where I shoot:
Even though I have a studio in Winter Garden, I prefer use outdoor areas with nature, plants, walls, and color as a background. We can go anywhere you like in Orlando, within reasonable distance (30 miles from zip 32836, to be exact, is where I’m most comfortable). I am based in Lake Buena Vista and Winter Garden, and can also photograph on certain Disney or Universal properties (pending permission). For Glam Sessions, we would also do some specialty senior portraits in my Winter Garden studio. Check out some of my recent portraits at downtown Orlando and Disney’s Boardwalk.
Props and Stuff:
Do you play guitar? Drive a cool car? Have a dog? Collect stuffed animals? Play sports? Bring your precious and beloved stuff! This session is about YOU and what makes you look and feel good. (you probably shouldn’t bring a cat or a tarantula – I’m just sayin’)
What to wear for a senior session:
First of all, be comfortable. If you’re not comfy in your own clothes, your pictures will reflect stiffness and awkwardness. I encourage you to have at least two looks for your shoot – a casual look and a glamorous look. You are probably more comfortable in the casual outfit, which can be as simple as jeans and a t-shirt. We’d start out with that. But I also want you to dress up, so a suit or a dress should be on the list of stuff to bring. We have lots of fun with dressy clothes! If I were a senior, here’s what I’d bring:
* button shirt or polo, or both
* dressy pants
* dressy shirt
* prom dress (yes, that’s how I roll)
* black shoes
* high heels
For girls I also strongly suggest that you get professional hair and makeup done for your photo session – you will feel so much more confident and beautiful, and your photos will look great.
Yes please. If you don’t know anyone in your school who’s had their senior pictures taken by me, then we need to talk. I am specifically looking for Juniors-abouttobecome-Seniors at West Orange High School, Windermere Prep, and Olympia High School. I give my senior models all kinds of goodies to show off at home and to their friends. Spaces are limited to 6 models per school, so tell your friends and let’s arrange a photoshoot!
$125 (+$75 for hair and makeup)
Session fee includes pre-session consultation (email and/or Skype), shooting time with unlimited clothing/makeup changes, and post processing. We will have a second meeting 7-10 days after the senior session where you will make your selections for prints, canvases, books, and other products. PhotoKisses is a print studio, where we pride ourselves on great quality and timeless art. Only certain packages will have digital files available. Our average order is $700-1200 and contains keepsake boxes of large prints, wall art, albums, metallic posters, and senior collages.
