• Orlando Wedding Photographer Kristina Stockton

I am an Orlando wedding photographer who loves to celebrate with energetic, fun, romantic couples getting married in Orlando, Central Florida, and worldwide. I am Lithuanian, and speak English fluently - until the end of the day when my tired brain refuses to translate for me anymore. Haha!
I often tell people that I photograph weddings for selfish reasons - there's no other career where I'd get to experience that much love and happiness every weekend! I mesh best with outgoing, adventurous, geeky, head over heels in love, super romantic yet totally down to earth people. I love it when my clients become my friends!

Besides wedding photography services, I also capture headshots, glamour portraits, and fashionable high school seniors in the Lake Buena Vista/Disney neighborhood.

    * a modern approach to classic romance *

Nicole is a college senior at University of Central Florida. She is going to be a teacher. I photographed her at Harry P. Leu Gardens (free admission on the first Monday of every month, you’re welcome!) With an impending rain storm, we still got to use 4 great outfits and no less than 10 different locations within the gardens, accomplishing quite a bit in just over an hour of shooting time. We stayed until the gardens closed, and got soaked to the bone leaving the grounds. It was all worth it! Below is a collage that I created specifically for Pinterest, since I kept pinning tons of collages for senior photography inspiration, myself. You’re welcome to participate in some pinning action! 🙂

This is Jem, whom I photographed yesterday in my home studio in Orlando. She is wearing a tulle dress that I made by hand using the leftover white tulle I had from my wedding. I also styled the accessories and the hair. We had an amazing session within about 5 feet of space!

I’m going to play a game today. I’m posting three pictures of the striking Jem. The Facebook picture will be of the artsy kind. The Pinterest picture will have a model vibe. The one I post on my blog will, of course, be wedding/bride related. If you were allowed only one tiny peek, which one would you visit next?

‘Tis the year of destination weddings! Since moving to Orlando FL, I have had to broaden my area of coverage… slightly 🙂 A few months ago I traveled to upstate New York to celebrate with Jessica and Ray as they tied the knot. We had a spectacular day full of sunshine, great moods, and loads of laughter.

The girls got ready at the house while the guys met my second photographer Valerie at the church. It was a quiet and contemplative morning, the girls didn’t rush about yet everything was going smoothly. Jessica was a bit nervous, but it didn’t show. I had plenty of time to play with her details, and even got inspired to do something different for the shoe shot, since they were so lacey.

Wedding days like this are a photographer’s dream! Not having to rush through pictures and posing, having enough time to arrange the bridal party in various flattering poses, and then still having time for bride and groom portraits, it was truly a priceless treat for which I am so thankful. Even though it was a bright afternoon, it was overcast, and we got a TON of amazing images.

And a shameless plug for my friend Christine, who created the pretty tags for the wine bottles, which acted as seating cards. And did you SEE that groom’s cake?! Rochester is well known for the garbage plate, and this cake from Gourmet Goodies was truly a work of art, even the cheese looked realistic!wedding reception details wedding reception intro dance toasts

The next time I travel for a wedding, it will be to Alabama in September. In the mean time, I’ll stay here in sunny Orlando, reminiscing about the Istas celebration, and hoping that some day, one of my travel wedding couples will decide to honeymoon right here at Disney or Universal, and I’ll get to do their Trash The Dress/Day After session in my new home town 😛 Thank you Jessica and Ray for bringing me to Rochester for your wedding, it was a perfect day!

Weeeee! I’m so stoked! Recently I had one of my travel weddings that I photographed featured on A Practical Wedding! It is a blogsite that focuses on creating a culture that supports laid-back, feminist weddings. Michael and Mary’s perfectly chill wedding in their Seattle, Wa. home was a perfect fit.  Congratulations to the newlyweds on the feature!

I blogged the wedding with all my favorite images, HERE

This post isn’t wedding related, but how could I not share my recent photographic adventure!

I couldn’t stop singing “Under The Sea” from the Little Mermaid as I was editing this fun underwater session. I photographed it with none other than my GoPro Hero camera! It was a challenge to shoot blind, and the water was freezing, but for the couple of minutes that we were able to spend in the deep end of the pool, I think Kaitlin and I got some pretty cool images. If anyone is interested in a similar session, lemme know, my pool is located in 32836! 🙂
