I photographed some headshots/portraits at Orlando’s Lake Eola a while ago for a young mother who is getting into professional modeling. Mariela was an amazing model! She followed directions well and had a great range of expressions. She is the owner of Styling by Mariela,so I was super excited to work with her because I knew she and her hair would look fabulous – which is always number one on MY “perfect client” wish list, and I wish I could make it a requirement: PLEASE HAVE FABULOUS HAIR. And if you don’t have great hair (like me, waaaah) then get someone awesome like Mariela to style it for your photoshoot! Hehehe

Also, I used my “plastic fantastic” 50mm lens for pretty much the whole session (after receiving some weird looks from strangers while wielding my hefty 70-200) and loved the results, especially with close ups. Such dreamy backgrounds!Orlando_Portrait_Photographer_Headshots_04Orlando_Portrait_Photographer_Headshots_05PhotoKisses-Mariela-31-sm

In true Florida fashion, it rained for a good 10 minutes half way through our shoot. Luckily, in true Orlando fashion, we also got that amazing yellow/green sunlight that comes after every rain, and were able to take some incredible portraits like this one. Thank you Mariela for being awesome, I hope to be able to work with you again sometime soon!

The more time she spent in front of the camera, the more relaxed and confident she became! It was a pleasure to photograph this gorgeous young lady in the town of Celebration, Fl. I wish you all the success in the world, and please remember me when you’re getting married 😛

Go Kowboys! I love how the blue and yellow color scheme dominated the last few pages of the book. Katie’s senior photos – photographed by Kristina Stockton of PhotoKisses on Church st in Orlando Fl.

Katie chose a young and fresh look to start off the session with some natural looking portraits; a dress and daring heels for some fun girly model poses; a tank and shorts combo for a few relaxed standard poses; and a cheer uniform in which she did some spectacular moves. She was stunning in every shot. I had a great time working with Katie! All the best in your upcoming school year and good luck!

I recently moved to a neighborhood where firework shows from Magic Kingdom are visible on a nightly basis, where mouse ears are considered passable accessories, and where dreams are meant to be dreamed and memories are meant to be made. I don’t know if I’ve mentioned this on my blog before, but I absolutely love love LOVE living in Orlando!

Meet Kaitlin. Her biggest dream is to be a dancer for Cirque du Soleil. She needed some fun senior portraits that also showcased her dancing abilities, so she came to me with a few ideas, and we made it happen. Kaitlin did her own makeup, I helped her with hair. The sky high heels and the hot pink tutu were great accessories to flaunt! We went to the Disney’s Boardwalk for this shoot, and we had so much fun playing, dancing, posing, and chasing the sun as it was setting along the water. We ended up with a great set of headshots/portraits that Kaitlin will be able to use on her Cirque application.Continue reading this blog post to view more images from Kaitlin’s fun senior/dance session. I’ve also posted my current prices in case you’re interested in your own fun portrait shoot in or around the wider Orlando area 🙂 CLICK TO CONTINUE READING >>

I met Taylor’s mom at one of my recent weddings. She kept my business card, and a few months after the wedding she contacted me for her daughter’s senior pictures. Having been so busy with weddings I simply haven’t had time to advertise to the senior market this year, so it was nice to be able to do this shoot with Taylor. One huuuuge bonus was that she wanted her horse to be in the pictures with her. YAY!

We picked a beautifully warm but not muggy day, and photographed the senior session in the setting sun. Because of the location, and the horse, tomboy Taylor went with a carefree, comfortable look.

What a special friendship between a girl and her horse! I loved everything about this – her hair, the horse’s mane, the blues and the browns… perfection.CLICK TO CONTINUE READING >>
