Last weekend I travelled to Syracuse to assist Matt from Picture Infinity in a 12-hour wedding. Well, actually it wasn’t really 12 hours long, we had a 4 hour break in between the ceremony and the reception. Still, the day was long. And productive!
In the morning we split up and Matt went with the girls and I went with the guys. My part was easy, the dudes were sitting around just relaxing and chatting. Except for the groom, who was pacing around and threatening to pass out any minute. After the last groomsman arrived, the guys piled into the limo and off we went to church.

The guys decided that they would trash the limo with empty bottles in order to freak out the girls, so before they could execute their terrible plan I quickly hopped in and took a few shots of the interior.

I don’t think that they actually trashed it, in the end. But it was still very cool to sit in a limo, even for a few seconds.
Then we got to the church, the groomsmen got pinned with flowers, and we waited for the girls to arrive. When they did, Matt said “did you take any shots of the church?” And I had, of the inside, but not the outside. So I quickly pointed my camera upwards and click, “yes I did!”

Haha, such is the life of a photographer, we snap what we can (or when we remember).
After the ceremony we travelled to Onondaga Lake Park and snapped lots of fun formals of the wedding party. Isn’t the bride just gorgeous?

I’m discovering that I really like LIGHT pictures. As in, bright, colorful, with a light background. Hmm, something to explore this wedding season.
Ater formals, Matt and I returned to his studio and worked on a slideshow to be shown at the reception. Well, he was working and I was exploring the products that his studio offers. I discovered a lot of goodies and got some awesome ideas for my 2008 season.
Matt blogged about this wonderful celebration on his own website. Go check it out.
