Before I tell you anything else, can I tell you how much I LOVE the time in between the ceremony and reception! Ryann and Patrick had oodles of time in between, and we were able to travel a bit and take so so SO many images that wouldn’t have been possible otherwise. It was really hard to select images to show on this blog, I don’t want any computers to crash on my behalf while trying to load a bazillion pictures! Anyway, let’s move on to the Dunning wedding.
Shoes!

Off to the church

Holy Ghost Catholic Church – clouds are starting to gather in…

Ryann’s brother walked her down the aisle

First KISS.

After the family formals at the church, we played a bit on the steps.

Trying to beat the rain, we hurried to the Genesee Valley Park for some bridal party pictures.

Having been rained out of the park, we decided to go to the reception venue – Inn on Broadway – and take pictures inside. Luckily, by the time we got there, the rain had stopped, so we were able to continue taking pictures outside. We got really lucky! Both Ryann and Patrick are policemen in Atlanta. This was their destination wedding coming back to their home town of Rochester. As we were crossing the street to the courtyard across from Inn on Broadway, a cop happened to be driving by. An idea hit me – I asked him if he would mind stopping for a few seconds so we could grab a quick shot with his car, half expecting that he’d arrest me for disturbing traffic. He did better than that – he turned around and parked on the curb, put on his lights, and let us have the car to ourselves for almost 10 minutes! (Shhh let’s not tell him he parked in front of the fire hydrant)

This was taken at the same spot where I showed you the teaser image a few days ago.

You can always tell that Phenomenon Sound is in the house – they bring bubbles! First dance.

After dinner, cake was cut. I got to taste it, and it was yummy.

Dance time!

I had time to play with the rings a little.

Thanks guys for having me at your “destination” wedding! And especially thanks for going along with some of my crazy ideas, I can’t tell you how happy I am that we had a few hours to play! Your wedding was so much fun, exactly the type of event I love to photograph!
For the parting shot, here’s a beautifully wrapped present that someone left on the gift table. I laughed so hard when I saw it!
