It wasn’t a typical day. Well, all wedding days are unique, but this one was just out of the box for me. Definitely memorable to say the least! There were a few mishaps during the day – but luckily, we all had a positive attitude and made the best of all that was happening around us. It ended up being a fabulous celebration! I got some amazing images and had a great time.
Mishap #1 – my car decided to die just as I was about to leave. It was a scary few moments. Luckily my neighbor offered to drive me to Melissa’s home. Later I got to ride in the limo with the girls (and all my equipment) which was way more fun than driving my own car anyway!
The girls all got ready at Melissa’s. It was really funny that they all got the same shoes, without communicating anything more than “pretty” and “silver”. I think these are Melissa’s shoes, but who knows, they were all the same! Aren’t they pretty?
The girls and I got to go to Shoen Place at the canal in Pittsford. I LOVE the fact that the girls were up for anything! We took some “normal” pictures of the girls, and then proceeded to scout out this grungy, old, rickety house for some more fun stuff.

Another mishap happened when my Vagabond battery decided to beep angrily at me instead of firing for night shots. However, I was able to use off camera lighting anyway (thanks to Shone’s Nikon *GASP!* )
Thanks guys for having me at your wedding! It was so much fun! I am glad the day went by *mostly* without a glitch, and that you will have some fond memories of your celebration.
