This year it was particularly difficult for me to make time to go to the Rochester lilac festival because I either had weddings to shoot and edit, or it was cold and rainy, or I had no one to go with, etc. Finally I went on the last day of the festival – and even so, I was only able to walk around the park, not the concert/vendor area. I did get some great pictures though! I brought my 100 2.8 macro lens with me, as I was particularly interested in getting some nice close ups of the lilac blossoms. Enjoy!
