Warren Wedding

8.25 in St. Mary’s church and Terry Hills golf club, Batavia NY.

I have to hand it to Maggie for being the most stylish bride of the year.  And you’ve seen my brides this year, and how gorgeous each one of them looked! Maggie had a lot of competition, but oh-em-gee her gown was amazing. And she had a piece of her mom’s wedding gown sewn into her designer dress, both in the front and in the back. How cool is that?!

Here it is before she put it on…

They had a chocolate/champagne themed wedding, and the ceremony programs reflected it beautifully with sparkly gold paper and brown lettering.

At the ceremony, Maggie surprised her guests with a bagpipe processional, as both of her parents led her down the aisle to be given away.

The bagpiper returned after the ceremony to lead them out of the church as a newly married couple.

Maggie and Matt wanted to have their formals shot in downtown Batavia,  so before the wedding we planned out their timeline to include plenty of time for pictures.

We stopped traffic. There was a lot of honking… congratulatory, I suppose.

This is one of my favorites of them toghether.

As well as this one

When we got to the reception at the Terry Hills golf club, there were three huge TV screens playing pictures of Matt, Maggie, and Matt&Maggie, put together by their friends and bridal party. It was an awesome surprise. It was even more awesome when I noticed a few pictures of Maggie I had taken last year at Ashley’s wedding! The reception hall was decorated in warm brown and gold tones, it looked perfect and it even matched the walls. Maggie’s cake, like everything else, also matched. It matched the patterns of her wedding gown… absolutely gorgeous.

After a few minutes of calming and relaxing breaths, we went outside for more pictures (man, these guys were troopers!)

Maggie taking a minute to chill.

During dinner, I took Maggie’s bouquet and the rings for this nice shot.

Then came the first dances… First up, the newlyweds

Then, Maggie with her dad… I love his expression here

Then Matt with his mom… she looks as if she doesn’t want to let go quite yet.

And then of course came the bouquet, which was expertly caught by Maggie’s friend Nicole who is getting married later this year.

I wish I could’ve stayed longer, but our day had been so full, that even with the extra hour of coverage they bought we still ran out of time. I hear they danced the chicken, boombastic, and all kinds of funky dances you normally dance with your best friends.

I wouldn’t leave you hanging without a SHOWCASE. Please check it out for more awesome shots of the Warren wedding.
